Ian Jackson was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania, he started gymnastics at the age of four. His first coach, Barry Mattern; owner and coach at Artistic Sports Academy Plus (Harrisburg, PA) was the one who helped Ian to recognize potential and how to achieve what you believe throughout his gymnastics career.

The University that ended up getting his full attention was Oklahoma. There, Ian would go on to earn academic honors such as; 1st Team All-American Scholar Athlete, 1st Team Academic-All Big XII and 2x Big XII Commissioner's Honor Roll. Ian even managed to achieve a few athletic achievements as well; 3x Conference Team Champions, 2010 Vault Conference Champion & 2008 Men’s Gymnastics NCAA National Champions. Ian completed graduate school at Oklahoma May of 2012. He earned his Master’s degree in Higher Education and also obtained a B.A. in HR. Ian currently is the Head Coach of the boy’s team Competitive program at Orlando Metro Gymnastics (OMG) in Orlando, FL and will continue dedication towards education within athletics.

Towards the close of Ian’s competitive gymnastics career is when he decided to focus on his coaching credentials. Ian has helped with many different gymnastics club programs, boy’s gymnastics competitive team programs, boy’s & girl’s team camps develop and improve. Ian takes pride in his positive ability to coach and inspire childrena and adults in achieving their goals.
